耶稣极其伤痛，祷告更加恳切。汗珠如大血点，滴在地上。
And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
约过了一小时，又有一个人极力的说，他实在是同那人一夥的。因为他也是加利利人。
And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean.
主转过身来，看彼得。彼得便想起主对他所说的话，今日鸡叫以先，你要三次不认我。
And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
天一亮，民间的众长老连祭司长带文士都聚会。把耶稣带到他们的公会里，
And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,
他们都说，这样，你是神的儿子吗。耶稣说，你们所说的是。
Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.
我回答说，主阿，你是谁。他说，我就是你所逼迫的拿撒勒人耶稣。
And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.
与我同行的人，看见了那光，却没有听明那位对我说话的声音。
And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
他又说，我们祖宗的神，拣选了你，叫你明白他的旨意，又得见那义者，听他口中所出的声音。
And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
我就说，主阿，他们知道我从前把你的人，收在监里，又在各会堂里鞭打他们。
And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee:
千夫长说，我用许多银子，才入了罗马的民藉。保罗说，我生来就是。
And the chief captain answered, With a great sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free born.
